  1. Jeffrey Goronkin

    President/CEO and Chairman of the Board

    Jeffrey Goronkin, Founder and CEO Mr. Jeffrey Goronkin has been serving as the president/chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors for iZoca, Inc. since the company was incorporated September 25th, 2007. For the past 16 years, Mr. Goronkin has been developing a strong set of business skills and experiences that he leveraged to conceptualize iZoca and lead the organization to successfully launch the platform to the public. Mr. Goronkin’s experience encompasses many aspects of business including sales and marketing, research and development and commercializing technical and non-technical products in a variety of industries.

    The genesis for iZoca was the result of Goronkin’s many years of organizational management experience at the corporate level and through his affiliations with community non-profit organizations as a volunteer board member. Throughout Mr. Goronkin’s career he recognized the need for better tools that would enable groups and organizations to communicate more effectively. Through an analysis of current internet social networks, Goronkin discovered an opportunity for the creation of a new platform based upon group affiliations coupled with a unique calendar and communications solution.

    Prior to iZoca, Mr. Goronkin was the vice president for Life Sciences at Evident Technologies, a nano technology firm developing quantum dot based applications. Mr. Goronkin led the efforts in research and development, sales, customer service, production and business development. Mr. Goronkin conceived of new quantum dot based applications and was the primary inventor on key medical device patents filed by the company. During Goronkin’s tenure at Evident Technologies he successfully led the restructuring of the Life Science web portal and introduced e-commerce to the company.

    Prior to his work with Evident Technologies, Mr. Goronkin managed sales, business development, and customer service for Proligo, a fine chemical company and held sales and business development positions with Integrated DNA Technologies, a DNA/RNA synthesis company.

  2. Scott Stewart

    Chief Technology Officer

    Scott Stewart, CTO Scott Stewart holds the position of Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Stewart began working with iZoca in December, 2007 when he was approached by iZoca's founder to participate in the group networking startup. He was immediately taken with the concept, requesting to be the one to build iZoca. He advocated an iterative process with the founder and team to synthesize the iZoca concepts into reality.

    Prior to his involvement with iZoca, Mr. Stewart was an independent software consultant focusing exclusively on web application development. During his technical career, he served as a manager of information systems, a development manager, a technical lead, and has managed a 7x24 data center. He has designed, created, and has been a lead on a variety of successful software projects.

    Mr. Stewart stays active in the local software development community through his involvement with various software user groups. Currently, Mr. Stewart is an active member of the Tech Valley Ruby Brigade, a group enthusiastic about the Ruby programming language and evangelizing its use in the capital district.

  3. Susan Bardack

    Chief Marketing Officer

    Susan Bardack, Chief Marketing Officer Susan Storey Bardack is the Chief Marketing Officer of iZoca. Ms. Bardack has over 15 years experience in the field of communications. Ms. Bardack began her public relations career at Scanlan Communications in Albany, NY. As a senior associate she worked with several high profile clients including, McDonalds, The New York State Museum, The Preservation League of New York State and the Association of Proprietary Colleges. More recently, Ms. Bardack has worked as an independent communications consultant.

    Ms. Bardack spent a decade in a management role, as assignment editor, at the CBS affiliate in Albany, NY. Ms. Bardack received a professional honor awarded by Freedom Communications for her role in a major national story.

    Ms. Bardack graduated magna cum laude from the Newhouse School of Public Communications and the School of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University.

  4. Amy Rumenapp

    Quality Control and Assurance Analyst

    Amy Rumenapp, Quality Control and Assurance Analyst Amy Rumenapp is the Quality Control and Assurance Analyst at iZoca. Ms. Rumenapp has over a decade of software development experience. Since 2001, Ms. Rumenapp has focused her technical career at IA Systems developing and managing enterprise web applications.

    Ms. Rumenapp has spent the last several years managing all facets of the software development lifecycle for many successful projects. She has worked as a web developer, a software development team leader and a manager of a business analysis team.
