Cool Surprises on Sun, Mar 07 at on SW

Hi Everyone...
I know it's probably freezing outside, but when I look out the window.. it looks a tiny bit like Spring.
Okay.. that's not the surprise. The surprise happened on Thursday. I'm sitting at Mocha Lisa, a Clifton Park cafe and a long distance number pops up on my phone. I pick it up and it's my good friend Karen Stabile who lives in Florida.
I was so excited to hear from her! Then she says.. guess where I am this morning? You got it... Clifton Park, NY!! Yeah!!!
Later that day we got together not just once, but twice! It was so much fun and such a nice surprise.
Karen has been my friend since the third grade and it's funny how even when you haven't seen someone for awhile it's just like old times when you do reconnect.
We laughed a lot and caught up on life.

My surprise was being in NY. I planned it on a Friday, flew up on a Wednesday for six days and had a GREAT time seeing Susan and so many others. I did a cross-state "tour," Albany to Rochester and then flew back to Florida. Everyone needs to do something on a whim every once in a while.
